Barmah National Park - Yamyabuc Discovery Trail - Dharnya

This self-guided 1.5 km walk begins at the Dharnya carpark.

It's reached from the Barmah NP Day Visitor centre (31 km north of Echicha/Moama, on the Cobb Highway and Barmah Rd) on the east bank of Barmah Lake, then along the Sand Ridge Track to the Dharnya Communication and Education Centre (currently closed to visitors)

The walk includes evidence of Aboriginal and European occupation, the Barmah muster yards and aspects of park management, forestry operations and water regulation.

Information Boards are located along the Track, displaying and describing some of the natural and cultural features of the Barmah forest.

Our visit was on January 13 2018.
